Gammacid

pH buffers, to maintain a constant acidity or basicity throughout the preparation or dyeing process.

The Gammacid line includes specific buffers designed to maintain a constant pH during different stages of the textile process, particularly in preparation and dyeing.

pH control is critical to ensure:

  • Stability of the dye bath

  • Color uniformity

  • Maximum dye yield

  • Protection of fibers from hydrolysis or damage

Gammacid products, available in a variety of formulations, ensure gradual, effective and prolonged action in both acidic and basic environments, enabling them to work under optimal conditions even on sensitive substrates or complex cycles.

Gammacid AE

GAMMACID AE adjusts pH to approximately 9.5 and buffers pH very effectively. By using the product, there is no need to prepare various stock solutions, it can be automatically dosed, does not foam, and is easy and safe to handle. GAMMACID AE keeps the pH of the tincture bath constant throughout the tincture process, contributes greatly to the safety of the process, and allows the tincture to maintain a very large degree of reproducibility.

Gammacid ANT

An antitarma agent of universal use, active against antreni, attagens and their larvae. GAMMACID ANT is a mothproofing agent of universal use. It can be applied to wool and its blends in both staple and yarn or fabric, by bath process in dyeing mills or spray process in spinning mills.

Gammacid BP

GAMMACID BP finds its use as an acidifying agent for dye baths where it is necessary to maintain a constant pH value between 4.5 and 6. The product is stable at high temperatures.

Gammacid NAC

GAMMACID NAC finds its use as a neutralization agent in alkaline pretreatment processes, such as mercerization, alkaline cracking and peroxide bleaching baths.

Gammacid PES

Gammacid PES regulates pH around 4.5 and buffers pH effectively. It can be automatically dosed without previous diulization. It keeps the pH constant during the dyeing process, successfully avoids the harmful effect of hardness agents, especially those that produce tone changes due to heavy metal and alkaline earthy ions; contributes greatly to the safety of the process and allows the dyeing to maintain a very large degree of reproducibility.
