Gammafix is the Gammacolor line of dye fixers designed to improve color fastness on all types of fiber and for every dye class, from reactive and direct dyes to dispersed, acid or basic dyes.
These auxiliaries work by fixing the dye molecules to the fiber, reducing the release of color during washing, rubbing or exposure to light. The result is a dye that is stronger, brighter and more stable over time.

GEB Gammafix
GEB Gammafix is suitable for a variety of finishes on cotton, pes/cotton and viscose and specifically for "chintz" or "washand-wear" treatments or simply for improved dimensional stability. It gives the fabric excellent wet and dry wash resistances, and in combination with a fixative also improves the mechanical strengths of the backing. It has a very low formaldehyde content of less than 75 ppm (LAW 112 and AATCC 112).

Gammafix PA increases the wash fastness of nylon fabrics with acid dyes. The product does not change the hand of the fabrics and does not alter the tone of the dyes. Gammafix PA perfectly resists mixing with concentrated acids ( acetic acid) therefore precipitation problems during treatment are eliminated.

Gammafix RE
Gammafix RE is a product designed to improve the wet fastness of dyes and prints made with direct, direct light and reactive dyes. Gammafix RE can be applied either exhaustion or foulard. Where exhaustion is applied, the temperature of use should be between 25-40°C with a dwell time of 20′ at pH 6 - 7. The product's substantivity is lower for lower pH values.

Gammafix TN is a post-treatment product for improving fastnesses to wet treatments of dyes and prints with Reactive and Direct dyes on natural and regenerated cellulosic fibers.Gammafix TN improves fastnesses to washing at 40°C and 60°C with Direct and Reactive dyes; improves fastnesses to water , perspiration and seawater ; only minimally affects hue and lightfastness does not affect reimbibance, stitchability and hand; finally, the product does not contain formaldehyde.
